Whole-house softeners are fitted where limescale affects radiators, valves and cylinder surfaces. These units treat all incoming water and regenerate automatically with salt; sensible siting and correct pipework isolation protect boiler controls and immersion elements. For oil-heated rural properties we co-ordinate with OFTEC-registered engineers to ensure compatibility with gravity-fed tanks and non-standard cold-water supplies.

Point-of-use and drinking-water options include under-sink carbon filters and reverse-osmosis units that remove chlorine, sediment and taste-impairing impurities. We position point-of-use units so installation is serviceable and food-safe, and give clear maintenance guidance — salt top-ups for softeners and cartridge or membrane change schedules for filters and RO systems.
